Order of Operations

4x3+4÷ 2
12+12÷2
12+6
18
First Multiply 4x3=12
Second Divide 12÷2=6
Third Add 12+6=18
Last Square the answer

order of operation

This operation is called BEDMAS.
The way you do this is starting with the brackets, then the exponents, the multiply or divide which ever comes first(do it from left to right) and the last thing is to add or subtract(do from left to right which ever comes first.

order of operations

4x3+12/2=18
first you do the multipucation
then you bring it down
then you do the divistion then you add

Order Of Operation

Four multiply by Three plus Twelve divided by Two
Twelve plus Twelve divided by Two
Twelve plus six

Order Of Operations

Okay, there is a certain way to answer a math problem like this. It's called "BEDMAS". The reason is because the order of operation goes something like this:
Brackets
Exponents
Division Multiplication
Add Subtract
This picture right here gives you an idea of how it works.
And here is a website that will help you.
And if you bananas still don't understand, here is a video. Well, hope that works.

Order of Operations

Order of Operations
First it's Brackets
Then it's Exponents
After it's Multiply and Divide
Finally it's Add and Subtract

The question and way to do it is like this

And here's a website about it

Oh, and here is a video

Order of Operations

So this is how to do a question like this:

You need to do the order of operations (or BEDMAS)
Brackets
Exponents
Division/Multiplication (which ever one comes first left to right)
Addition/Subtraction (which ever one comes first left to right)

What, you still don't get it?!
Maybe this video can help
(If you have nine minutes and forty seconds of spare time.)

(Note: I don't care if you got this video first before me. I found this video while searching for an appropriate one for my post . I looked at the blog out of curiosity and ran across the video that I was going to use. I tried to find another video but I just really wanted to use this video so I went with it.)

And if you want to know how to do a more complicated order (and this possibly get you to Backé math)

WHAT?! NONE OF THIS DOESN'T HELP? I DON'T KNOW, GO SEE A DOCTOR OR SOMETHING! HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS, THERE ARE LIKE THREE THINGS TO HELP YOU AND THEY FULLY EXPLAIN EVERYTHING! GET OUT OF HERE, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN GRADE 7 IF YOU CAN'T GET ANY OF THIS STUFF!!!

Don't ask, I just wanted to put that there.
Thank you for reading my post (and hopefully understanding it.)

Order of Operations

4×3+12÷2
12 + 12÷2
12 + 6
18
First do the multiplication 4x3=12
then bring everything else down
then do the division 12÷2=6
after than bring all the rest down
do the addition 12+6=18

order of operations

First you do left to right and first there is division so you do 12 divided by two. Next is
addition so next is 4x3=12. So next you write 6+12= last is the answer, it is 18.
4x3+122
122+4x3=12
