Measures of Central Tendency: Mean

Mean- a measure of central tendency
        - the sum of a set of values divided by the number of values in the set
Mean of 6, 4, 8 is 6
Add up all the numbers and divide the result by how many numbers there are
6+4+8=18
13÷3=6
There for the mean is 6
Mean of 3, 4, 2, 1, 5, 3 is 3
3+4+2+1+5+3=18
18÷6=3
